Tesla 'Talisman' model 308U was made in Czechoslovakia from 1953-1958. The Art Deco style ran well into the 1950s in Czechoslovakia. This particular design is often referred to as "The Bullet" or "The Streamliner". it has a Bakelite cabinet and a glass tuning dial. The 4-tube circuit was designed by philips and features SW/MW/LW reception. This radio was made in three colours, brown, mottled brown, and dark red. Each colour can be found in various shades ranging from almost pitch black to a very bright burgundy red. Definately a "Must Have" radio for any collection!
