These images and several others were part of Mullards “The Natural Australian Beauty Quest.”
At the end of 12 months Mullard-Australia Pty. Ltd. would present to the subject on the cover which they consider the most attractive of that period a Mullard portable battery radio valued at 30 (pounds) .
The radio was a Model MBS 1050.
A challenge for any budding sleuth would be to find the winning girl then find the radio!
It would be a piece of Australian social, radio history and great provenance, if it could be found.
